When & where were you born?
How long have you lived in Robinson?
His home address has been in Robinson since around fourth (4th) grade. His family first moved to Flat Rock, but was here within a few months. Over the years (other than however much time was spent vising relatives with parents when a child, or similar), he has physically been in Robinson other than two years at college, one year working in Decatur, about six moths to a year spent with a relative before her death, and random amounts of time when doing "vacation" types of things (Los Angeles, Long Beach, Chicago, Indy), shopping, attending conventions (political or business related), or just normal day-to-day related things (doctors, life stuff, etc).
What jobs have you had?
While he won't say what company he currently works for as he started them and doesn't want people to think he's advertising them while running for office, he will mention the overall jobs he's had in the past and the general duties associated with them.
His job history, in no specific order, involves: a) delivering hundred of papers across a 20 mile long paper route, b) food service (Little Caesars before it closed down and the quality went up [really did, sales quadrupled on days -- he was part of the "cleanup" team that was hired to take care of past problems]), c) working for Westaff [was "Western") at whatever Hershey was called about 10 years ago, d)SAMS club, e) Bridgestone/Firestone (before they dropped the "Firestone" name after the recall) as an "Application Programmer Analyst" which is basically a person who writes computer programs, and f) his own companies (related to computers and other things).
So as you can tell, his jobs involved working by himself, to working in a group. From being hired for a low-level position ("peon"), to working in management. From having to memorize hundreds of addresses and what they got, to having everything written down in front of him. From having everything provided for him to use, to having to create everything from scratch.
They've even involved creating something new and all-but-never thought of before from existing materials; and even maintaining computer systems (software/databases) that were responsible for the proper notification of engineers for product quality -- that if mistakes were in the program, and they missed quality checks throughout (i.e. number of people not noticing), it could cost hundreds to thousands of lives.
The work done in his own company ("companies" as his "company" actually has multiple divisions that used to be multiple companies, just combined under one name for easier organization/protection) involves everything from documenting all orders, maintaining paperwork, answering the phone/e-mails, taxes (sales tax -- actual taxes are given to tax professionals), and actually creating and testing all the products for sale, and performing all the required services.
His businesses involve different things, but generally you can say they're computer and internet based services (such as software and website development). A number of his companies services are actually free, and there are actual tangible products, and even a few things he's trying to get together, but as to describe them would be too much "advertising" in his mind, he won't let them be listed here.
Plus he wants people to focus on him as the candidate for mayor -- not the person with a company that has free services. If you wish, however, you may contact him and he may answer your question -- even if it's not answered until after the election.
