The following pictures are just some general sidewalk pictures from around town. They don't include every problem area on the sidewalks, rather just a small sample of the worst offenders that Joshua Rodgers took pictures. Just take your nearest sidewalk for a few blocks, and you'll most likely see some yourself.
Almost all sidewalk problems are in one way or another an accessibility problem (meaning hard for disabled, seniors, etc to use), although many are safety hazards as well.
Accessibility Problems are when someone in a wheelchair, walker, or otherwise not completely fit and able to climb would have problems. These amount to a huge number of problems in itself -- and even applies to some sidewalks around near and around the courthouse square!
Problems are just overall problems, such as sidewalks that aren't flat, ones with potholes, etc.
Missing problems are when there really should be a sidewalk here (actually there's a lot of these) but there isn't. The pictures here are around the City Park (someplace that you'd really expect there to be a sidewalk!), and along one of the railroad crossings that force a person to walk over the bare tracks or walk on the road.
Short problems is another fairly common problem, it's when the sidewalk for no apparent reason stops mid-yard which makes you have to travel through the grass to get to the next paved area.
